TVS Successfully Completes First Ronin Cult Ride

Jagdamba Motors TVS has successfully hosted the inaugural 'TVS Ronin Cult Ride' event for TVS Ronin motorcycle owners, taking 30 riders from various backgrounds on an adventurous journey from Kathmandu to Kulekhani

Sanjay Ale, a 23-year-old enthusiast from Pokhara, embodied the adventurous spirit of the participants by traveling from his hometown to Kathmandu specifically for this ride. "It was more than just a ride; it was an adventure," Sanjay remarked, reflecting on his experience. "The TVS Ronin navigated off-road terrains effortlessly, proving its capability on every twist and turn.".

The first Ronin Cult Ride in Nepal, held on May 25th, was a big success, highlighting modern retro motorcycle enthusiasts' adventurous spirit and camaraderie. Riders aged 23 to 55 tackled the challenging route from Kathmandu to Kulekhani. Despite heavy rain and tough off-road conditions, the riders remained enthusiastic and energetic.  Although planned activities like boating, sightseeing, and fishing at Kulekhani Lake were cancelled due to the weather, the riders persevered with determination.

The Ronin 225 marks TVS’ entry into the premium lifestyle motorcycle segment in Nepal. Priced at Rs 4.49 Lakh, the Ronin is offered in a singular TD version in Nepal.The TVS Ronin comes with a 225.9cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that is good for 20bhp of peak power and 19.9Nm of peak torque. The engine has been tuned to provide a flat torque curve and plenty of meat in the low and mid-range. As a result, TVS claims that riders will not have to shift as often. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox with a slip and assisted clutch.Designed ground up, the Ronin 225 comes with many firsts in terms of technology and convenience features like Dual Channel ABS, Rain & Urban ABS Modes, Glide Through Technology (GTT), and a digital cluster with Bluetooth-enabled TVS' SmartXonnect. In terms of styling features, the modern retro motorcycle gets all LED lamps with T-shaped DRLs, asymmetric speedometer and 9-spoke alloy wheels.
